Overview
Applications for Global Summer Schools will open in January 2027.鈥
This highly interactive subject will expose you to a variety of engineering disciplines. Through specialist workshops, lectures and seminars, you will develop key skills and work in groups to find solutions to current engineering challenges. The programme will provide unique insight from Imperiaacademics with different engineering backgrounds, to help you understand the many applications of engineering in the real world.鈥
The sample timetables below detail the full academic programme and social activities of 2026. These timetables are subject to change and academic sessions may differ between July and August sessions.鈥

Learning journey
In 2026, learners:鈥
- Explored a range of disciplines and facilities within the Faculty of Engineering.鈥
- Conducted practical experiments, collect and analyse data.鈥
- Worked as part of a team to solve real-world engineering problems.鈥
- Tested their design skills in a series of team-based activities.鈥
- Built and tested models and prototypes using a range of materials.鈥
Learners are split into one of two streams once they arrive on campus. Both streams cover the same course content and we are unable to facilitate requests to change streams or to be allocated with friends. There will be opportunities to spend time with learners in the other streams during social activities.鈥
Programme overview
Students will receive a Imperiacertificate of attendance on successful completion of this programme and a prize will be awarded to the best project team.
Each student will also receive a document for their project marks.
