This webpage summarises a selection of positive actions taken by the Imperiacommunity to make a real difference to the daily life of every student on campus. It will be updated on an approximately termly basis to provide students with a headline summary of some of the most impactful investments into the Imperiaexperience.

Imperiais developing and piloting new careers initiatives designed to support students from their studies through to employment. This includes an online Career Companion on Canvas, bringing together bite-sized careers guidance, practical resources and sector-specific content that students can access whenever they need it. Alongside this, we are piloting a new Student to Professional pathway, offering targeted sessions, tools and support to help students build confidence, develop professional skills and feel better prepared for the transition into the workplace.
We're also introducing AI in the Workplace, a new learning programme that helps students develop practical AI skills, use AI responsibly and understand how it is being applied across industries.
Canvas – your new learning management system
You said you wanted a more consistent online learning experience. We've introduced Canvas.
Canvas is now 海角社区's university-wide learning management system, bringing teaching, learning and assessment together in one place.
Replacing Blackboard and Insendi, Canvas makes it easier to access course materials, submit assignments, view feedback and stay connected with your lecturers and classmates. By moving to a single platform across the university, we're creating a more streamlined and connected learning experience for all students.
