What are global experiences?
Global experiences are international learning opportunities that may be available as optional and/or compulsory parts of your programme. They are an opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge you have acquired over the course of your programme to real-world business contexts in a global setting.
These experiences can include visits to international organisations, the chance to work on real consulting projects, insights into how local markets are tackling complex business problems, collaboration with students and partner schools from around the world and a chance to learn from global business leaders.
Which global experiences are available at ImperiaBusiness School?
We offer global experiences on our MBA and Master's programmes, providing opportunities for international exposure across various career stages and specialisms.
The experiences available to you will depend on your programme.

Global Experience Week is a core element of the MBA journey.
Each year, students travel to various destinations across the world and spend one week exploring a major business challenge through a local lens.
Previous themes have included sustainability, inequality and climate transformation. Some cohorts have previously worked on wicked business challenges, which are ever-changing, complex issues with no simple fix or definition and often impact multiple groups with conflicting goals.
By connecting with industry leaders and local organisations, alongside peers from the MBA cohorts, students combine their years of professional experience and diverse perspectives to address the trip theme and gain insights into local markets, policies and culture.
Many of our Masters’ programmes also include opportunities to gain international experiences through the global experience elective modules.
Depending on your programme, you may have the opportunity to undertake a Global Immersion, Global Business Challenge and Global Exchange.
Whether you’re looking for practical consulting experience, a chance to build worldwide career prospects or an opportunity to gain interdisciplinary expertise in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship, our immersive international electives will equip you with the skills to stand out in a competitive job market.
